PechaKucha is a 20 image x 20 second arts and culture series. We host speakers who share their passions in a unique format: each presenter gets exactly 20 image slides, and each slide advances automatically every 20 seconds (for a total time of 6:40). In partnership with Las Casas Foundation.
In a unique musical event, some of San Antonio’s most exciting bands will perform Radiohead’s classic 1997 album "OK Computer" live, from start to finish. Backed up by the YOSA Philharmonic, luminaries of the local music scene will reinvent some of the most iconic alternative rock songs of the 1990s. Proceeds from this concert will benefit YOSA’s scholarship fund, enabling YOSA to change more kids’ lives through music. Featuring Nina Diaz, Demitasse, Pop Pistol, Lonely Horse, Octahedron, Nicolette Good, Alyson Alonzo, Femina-X, Jaime Ramirez, The Lavens, and Jonathan Raveneau.
Come celebrate the release of "Little Boat on Wave!" I'll be playing with a full band including some of the musicians who recorded on the album.

Since 1995, Stephen Brady Dietert has been writing songs. Being raised near a the small town of Kerrville, TX, on a working, historic family ranch, he gained a peculiar point of view that is reflected in his songwriting and lyrics. He left the small Hill Country village to play music in Austin in 2000. Then he went out west to Oceanside, California to surf for a year. Then back to Austin & San Marcos 2002-2006. Since then, he has lived in San Marcos, College Station, Dallas, and currently lives in San Antonio where he is pursuing his career in architecture. All the time finding the heart beat of each city, writing and playing music.
